Code of Conduct

Co-Lab Hakuba is a community of people from many countries and backgrounds sharing one valley. These are the ground rules that keep it safe and fun for everyone.

Respect everyone

Treat all participants, organizers, venue staff and local residents with respect — regardless of nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age or profession. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated.

No harassment

This includes unwanted physical contact, stalking, intimidation, sustained disruption of sessions, unwelcome sexual attention, and discriminatory jokes or language. One warning at most — serious cases mean immediate removal without refund.

Respect the valley

Hakuba is our host. Follow local rules at accommodations, onsens and trails, keep noise down at night in residential areas, and leave no trace outdoors.

Photos & recording

Event photos and videos will be taken during the summit and may be used for Co-Lab's website and social media. Tell the team if you don't want to appear — we'll respect it. Always ask before photographing individuals up close.

Safety & liability

Outdoor activities (trekking, SUP, MTB) carry inherent risks and are joined at your own risk. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Follow guide instructions at all times.

Report a problem

If you experience or witness a violation, contact any organizer on site, or message us on Instagram @colab_hakuba. Reports are handled confidentially.
